These are the tools I use regularly for my business that enhances my effectiveness and productivity.
Shotcut is a free video editing software. It is great for beginners who are new to video editing. It has a good balance between ease of use and features for most users.
Filmora is an affordable video editor with a built in screen recorder. It is a great beginner video editor. Being a paid software, it is more polished and has some built-in transitions and text effect. Your videos will look as if it is created by someone with more experience.
Hitfilm Express is a more sophisticated video editor. It is free to use with paid addons to enhance your videos.
I use it when I have more complex video projects. Although it is a more capable software, it will take you longer to learn. I wouldn’t suggest it if you are a first time video creator. Try the two mentioned above. My HitFilm Express for beginner’s course is here.
I’m sure you have heard of Canva. I use it to make great looking thumbnails. If you want to have a successful YouTube channel, thumbnails are crucial.
