Filmora 14 just launched and here’s everything you need to know. These are the features I’ll go through in this article. If you prefer a video review, click here to skip down to the bottom of this article.
Filmora AI Copilot
Filmora’s AI Copilot helps with giving suggestions and tips to get a certain results. For example, if you want to have a fast, modern transition, instead of just suggesting a transition, you may get tips like adding a speed ramp and other ways to get the result.
I think it is a great tool for new video editors or someone who is new to Filmora. An experienced editor may not benefit as much from it. Still it is a good tool to help with ideas on days you don’t feel extra creative.
Multicamera Editing
There were request for multicamera editing for sometime and it is great that Filmora incorporated this into Filmora 14. If you don’t use several camera angles, then this tool might not mean a lot to you. I find that this is a key new feature in Filmora 14.
This feature will benefit various types of videos including training, cooking and even tutorial videos. While I don’t use multiple camera much, it it useful even when I want to switch between a headshot and a screen recording.
AI Translation
This feature is available in Filmora 13 but in version 14, it seems there’s some changes to the user interface to make it more friendly. This feature requires AI credits.
AI Voice Enhancer
This feature allows you to enhance the clarity of your voice and something call voice beutification. This looks interesting, however I didn’t really managed to test this feature out.
AI Portrait Cutout
AI portrait cutout seems to work similar to a feature call human segmentation in Filmora 13. I’m not sure if there is any difference between the two.
AI Face Mosiac
This new feature is good when you want to blur faces. It uses the AI to detect face and to blur it. In the past, you have to do motion tracking for a person’s face and then add a blur. There are options for you to decide how strong the effect is. It can also create a rather interesting effect when you reverse the effect.
For longer video clips, it make take some time for the AI to work its magic. Instead you can use motion tracking to track a face and then add a mosiac blur to the face.
The results are different and I do perfer the tracking + blur mosiac method rather then AI face mosiac since it is faster. My best suggestion is to try it yourself and see which one you prefer.
AI Color Palette
This effect is similar to the old color matching feature. However, it gives you the added option to save a color palette and you can adjust the strength of color tones. There is also the option to protect skin tones which is great.
Video Denoise
This feature allows you to reduce noise in your video that generally occurs when your lighting is low. From what I can see, it make a small amount of changes to the video. May be a good tool to have if you have to use video captured with bad lighting that you have to use.
Planar Tracking
Planar tracking is a new tool that improves Filmora significantly. It works similar to motion tracking and allows you to track an object in 3 dimensional space, for example a billboard. It opens much new opportunities for your video.
Best to watch my video below to see it in action
Path Curve
This is also a new and this allows you to smooth out movement of an object. You can create curves for your keyframes.

Filmora 14 Pricing
This is the pricing at this point. The popular plans looks good at this time since it includes AI credits. Whichever plan you choose, you can always purchase additional credits if you need.
My suggestion is to download and try it first, then decide which plans suits your needs best.
