I found out about the Loom screen recorder from Opentest, Inc. I took it for a spin and here are my thoughts about Loom.

I forgot to mentioned this in the video which is Loom won’t work if you are offline.

Here are several other screen recorders you may want to consider free screen recorder in my opinion.

Choices for free screen recorders or even affordable ones have increased. Here’s a list to help you choose.

  1. THANK YOU for this! I was trying to find information about how long the embed links last and you are the only one who gave a clear, direct answer of 24 hours without referring someone. Loom doesn’t even expressly say so in their own FAQ. Very helpful!

    • Thanks for your comment Shanna. I think it is mentioned in one of their on-boarding videos. Anyway, glad you found your answer. Once you refer a few people, the videos last longer. It is still a decent service for quick screen videos.
