How to turn photos into video and create a unique Christmas greeting for your family and friends.

A note before we begin: - use this with care as some people may freak out with the result they see.

Step 1 Get A Photo Or Two

The first step is to get a photo or two. If you have a photo of the person together in the same photo, then one photo is enough. If not, then you will need two photos.

Step 2 Combine The Two Photos

Place the first photo on a video track. Reposition it so that it take approximately half the frame on the left. Use a mask to mask of the right areas you don’t want.

Next, place the second photo on a different video track but overlap it with the photo on the first track. Reposition it so it is on the right size of the frame. Use a mask, to mask of the left portion.

You should have both photos showing on the preview videos. Take a snapshot of the image.

You should end up with something like the photo below.

The background of the photo is not crucial because we can remove the background later. If the background is uncluttered it is better.

Step 3 Turn The Image Into A Video

The next step is to turn the photo into a video. Go to the Media tab. Scroll down until your find “Image to Video”. Look for Hug Your Love and click Create.

Upload the combined image you created above. Then click on Generate. Wait a few moments.

Step 4 Review The Video

You should be able to see the AI generated video in the sub tab “My File”.

If you are satisfied with the video, you can drag the video clip onto the timeline.

Step 5 Remove And Replace Backgroud

If the background of the AI generated video looks okay for you, you can just use it and add suitable sticker and effects.

You can also replace the background using AI human segmentation to remove the background, then replace the background with something else.

If the tutorial below, I replaced it with a Christmas theme background. I also added some foreground effect.
